-9173 Errors due to Native plugins

In my Opinion the 9173 errors are "CPU<->3rd Party Plug In" Problems.
I get these CPU "Peaks" with the use of more and more 3rd Party Plug Ins

And I made a test with Logic X yesterday !
The Performance is exact the same (!).
The same Plug In configuration brings the same problems in Logic X.
i can not use more Plug In instanses in Logic X than in PT 12.7 (Waves, iZotope, Slate)
I think this is a news for many user here.
I.M.O many new Plugs are not only CPU hungry, they make problems in realtime processing with some CPUs and the buffer size is not able to handle this.

today I ordered a new mac pro 8-core and I hope and believe that this Maschine has less "Peaks" in CPU usage.

I doubt it will be any less. I have a 12 Core and still get the spikes. But the problem is almost non-existent in Pro Tools 12.7, for me. When I had 12.7.1 installed, the session would not play at low buffer for more than 20 seconds.

No I don't use wireless. I use a Bluetooth mouse though, maybe that's affecting Pro Tools performance?

I do have some Izotope Neutron EQs on the go. As for the others, I've probably been using the same ones for the last 10 years.

It's just infuriating though. It's not like the computer is in any way stretched. The chips are just sitting there practically asleep. I've got 64Gb of RAM so there's no reason why any hard drive should slow things down (though they're all 7200 of course).

And of course it doesn't happen all the time. Once an hour maybe? Just at the exact point to kill any vibe, you know how it is.

If you are having excessive 9173 errors, please tell us about your system.

Have you verified that all plug-ins are current with no known issues?

What OS?

What Pro Tools version?

All hardware details.

Are you using wireless internet connection?

Have you done all required system optimizations?

Are you running with Hyperthreading turned on?
