Default New toy compatability & Pro tools 9

I have not upgraded as yet to pro tools 9 but purchased a Zoom R24 before release of PT9

Initially bought as a toy to use for basic multitracking away from home it Supports HUI and Mackie Control, with the new flexability advertised in pro tools 9, does anyone know if the Zoom R24 work as a control surface as it does in other DAWS?

thanks

If it supports HUI... it should work in Pro Tools.

Thanks for info, I will get round to testing on Protools 8 first I think as that seems like a good place to start.

It didn't seem to work as a control surface in pro tools 8
so I guess it won't in pro tools 9 ?

Selected HUI and then the zoom r24 in additional drop down menus,
also checked midi input...

And nothing happened...

Tony, did you ever get it working as a control surface? I am currently trying to get mine up and running with Pro Tools 9, but no luck yet..
