Default Any dual G5 PPC's working well with 7.4?

Hey, y'all. I appreciate your insight-- are any of you having good success with dual G5s running 7.4? I'm struggling with the question of our time-- upgrade to PCIe cards and new Intel CPU for 6k or not, since digi no longer "fully qualifies" PPCs for use with 7.4. Any model numbers of G5 PPCs anyone could recommend?

I thank you all indeed so very much. I remain emoticonless, thankfully.

dual 2.7 PPC working here.
6Gb Ram>OS 10.5.2, PT's 7.4.2
Twin 19" LCD, 192 plug-ins
(Waves, McDSP, Eventide, NI, Reason, Melodyne, ...........)

Keep up with the Plug-in chart for some don't work in Leopard.
I also found for PPC that making audio drives private from Spotlight was necessary to re-gain snappy workflow.

...and quite a lot of plugs...

Everythings well!

Wow! Quick and kindly responses! You folks are all back on my Xmas card list. I was stung recently by purchasing a dual 2.3 PPC. Kernal panics, digi support, TechTool, DiskWarrior, multiple clean installs---- nada. killed the poor beast dead. Won't even boot up now. Mayhaps the motherboard?

I remain in all y'alls service.

[ I love the couplet "all y'alls..." I worked w a band once, guy was writing lyrics in the studio. The Godz. The priceless line he came up w was "I gots'n the pills to cure all y'alls ills." As a metaphor, of course. A braggy one.

Whilst scribbling, he remarked, chewing on his pencil, "Man, I love being a musician; how do you spell 'if'n's'?" ]
