Eleven RTAS doesn't have the effects. I always use an EQ before and after the amp in 11R, so just the amp setting wouldn't do much. The amp setting would need to be different once adding in a 3rd party EQ, 3rd party Reverb, 3rd party distortion ect.. since they would sound different from the effects in 11R.

I'm talking about adding the Effects into the software version. Then base the further updates around the software, which will in turn be loaded on to the rack via a firmware update or the like, not really sure of the process of updating the software in the rack, assume it would be a firmware update.

Honestly, if you want new sounds head over to http://www.elevenrackpresets.com and download some of the user submitted presets. These really blew me away when I tried them. Since we launched last November, our community has amassed approx. 200 presets.

I'm super glad btw that we've seen these firmware updates - I know things will keep getting better and better as new Eleven Rack users learn what many of us know - this box ROCKS!
