Presumably now that we're 'all' on support plans, several support requests have been logged about this? Or is that a sure fire way to lose the will to live?

And I'm assuming that as the black frame appears on the desktop video screen as well, with the proviso of setting a video offset, that just about every installation since 11.2.2 exhibits the problem. That's quite a bit of qualified hardware isn't it!

The bug has been reported on IS in Nov 2014. It's not "in review" so I wouldn't expect any fix soon.

I'm holding off of 12 till some of the bugs that have come over from 11 are fixed so I'm not on a plan yet.

Video Universe broken since about PT8, black wink, write to all enabled broken in PT12, preserve fades when editing still not preserving fades as it should. just to name a few.

I have this on 12.6 and 12.5 HD with a black magic mini monitor. (among other problems)

AVID support has just let me know that this will be fixed "in the next major update". Not sure if the current dot-releases count as "major" but I do hope so.
