iTunes EXPORT settings?
I know this isn't an Apple forum but I'm trying to get the best of my Pro Tools exports.
I don't have the built-in mp3 converter in my version of PT.... Can someone tell me how to increase the quality of mp3's being exported out of iTunes? Is that possible? Thanks! |

Re: iTunes EXPORT settings?
Go to Preferences and to the import settings. You can get even better results by using a LAME converter, like "iTunes-LAME" to do it.

Re: iTunes EXPORT settings?
Try ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec) M4A as it's better than MPEG-2 Audio Layer III (MP3). If Playback Device supports M4A.

Re: iTunes EXPORT settings?
Also, if using Itunes, there's other settings outside of preferences that could be affecting the quality of the sound. There's an enhancer and eq that may be turned on by default and you'll want to turn them off. The enhancer is under Preferences>Playback. The Equalizer is under "Window".
