you Force Quitting it in Activity Monitor ?? ... interesting that is is helping for now .. Beat that Puppy up and se if that is it !!! crossing fingers ...

Yes- in Activity Monitor. Launch protools, force quit that sucker, then open your session. Seems much more stable now.

Quick update- Been SUPER solid for a few hours since force quitting the protools/quicktime activity.

Today's update: I don't know how this is an organic, ever shifting entity... When I was done last night, things were SUPER stable.
Started up today, 9073 all around!

You can get rid of this error by opening QuickTime Player 7, and disabling "Show Content Guide Automatically" in its preferences. Though I don't think it has anything to do with Pro Tools' performance.
