Default Further PT12/El Capitan issues

Pro Tools 12.3.1 and El Capitan: after several clean uninstalls then reinstalls of PT12.3.1, it seems that the Core Plugins are preventing the PT12 application from opening. Trashed the Core Plugins, and it all works perfectly well.

Thought I'd pass this on.

Yeah this isn't a new issue. This corrects the problem:

The trouble is you have to do this every time you install a new version of Tools.

Thanks. If they hadn't fixed this for Yosemite, then I wonder if they're still working on it for El Capitan.....

When I boot up PT no matter from a new session or old I get the error message below and none of the I/O's recognize the mic. I've done the uninstall and install and gotten rid of the plug ins, nothing seems to make a difference. After the major upgrade of my computer I was able to get PT to work the first, second and then third times this message came up. I know I accepted the small upgrade that was offered, I think that's when things went south. So I got rid of it and still no success. Spent hours on the phone with tech support, still no fix.

Tech support helped me sort out all the i/o issues, but still PT will not recognize the mic. It records but no sound. Kylix, one of the Techs, a VERY patient man, just told me it was a 'known issue' and a fix was coming. In the meantime Quicktime soungs like I'm talking thru a mattress....but at least I can get my broadcasts up everyday, just abysmal quality.

Does any brilliant person on this forum have a fix???

Please???
