Re: help im freaking out! i lost my ilok!!!
I feel for you.
This happened to a composer friend of mine and his options were pretty bad. You're better off breaking the ilok than losing it. For starters report it to ilok.com right away. Print out a list of the plugins that were on the ilok and then you have to start trying to reach each company to see what their policy is for this. Some will give you another backup but most won't. |

Call your insurance company and report a claim. If you have a mysterious disappearance exclusion, you are out of luck.

Re: help im freaking out! i lost my ilok!!!
You need a new license. That is why insurance is important. ZDT is not insurance, it provides temporary licenses for people with broken iLoks.
If you do not have insurance, you need to buy a new license. You can call Avid and ask for a discount, but they may or may not provide one.

Your authorization code should be on your Digi account page.

Re: help im freaking out! i lost my ilok!!!
Sucks that you lost your iLok... but the key words there are that you lost your iLok. Avid cannot make it magically reappear.
