It is really a beautiful system. I wonder why Avid don't launch a small "consumer" one, like four DSPs.

I'm really enjoying it. Working on the first thing, then a channel and the compressors. And a delay.

Just like to throw in a suggestion here. There are LOADS of AAX-DSP compressors/EQs/transient designers etc.

What we REALLY need are DSP replacements for the likes of the Soundtoys and Eventide plug-ins. Character delays, pitch shifters, flangers, doublers, harmonizers, tremolos, phasers, autopanners etc. That's what's REALLY missing. IMO.

Why AVID never launched a 4 or 8 DSP 8X8 version of the Omni for ~$2500 is a total mystery to me. ProTools with DSP IS AVIDs big advantage over others. This is exactly where I wish they would have gone years ago... or DSP Thunderbolt boxes... etc etc...

But keep working on the plugins!!
