Default Syncing Motu MTP-AV to HD (I/O 96)

I used for a long time Motu MTP-AV for syncing legacy TDM with 888 to Beta VTR and it worked just fine. Now I am thinking to switch to HD.
Does anyone has an experience syncing HD with 96 i/o interface to Beta SP using Motu MTP AV? If so, is it working flawlessly? I understand of course that I will be limited to 48 Khz -maximal sample rate.
Thanks.
