Upgrade to 7.3 failure
My system details are in my sig.
Just downloaded 7.3 and installed over 7.11 - which was working fine. 7.3 will not start long enough for me to enter the authorization code - it attempts to start for about 5-10 seconds and then the icon disappears from the dock. The Mbox is plugged in and the lights are lit. I have restarted several times and it remains the same. I ran Disk Permissions before and after the upgrade. I have also tried the upgrade again to no avail. It attempts to load and then stops. (Edit) - just noticed something that seems strange: when looking in the folder in Startup Items some of the items in the ProTools folders have changed icons to UNIX executable file icons. Does that make sense? Tomorrow I'll try an Uninstall and Reinstall but my question is this: since I have not authorized 7.3 yet if I Uninstall ProTools is there still something to upgrade - in other words does the upgrader need to see 7.11 to upgrade? Thoughts? thanks in advance

If you're running Mac Intel, you probably need the Combo Update.

Thanks Delta - noticed it in another thread and am downloading it now. I'll apply it tonight and see how it goes.
