Default Only 200 memory locations ?

Does anybody know why we have this limit. A limit like 256 or 512 I'd understand, and I really just need a 50 more or so.

Does anybody any way around this limit. I'm doing a voiceover editing and and its a bitch to try to find sentences (subject to constant script changing) if I wouldn't mark them up.

I'm using WinXP pro and PT 6.4.1 with MIXplus

That is correct - there's a limit of 200 for memory locations. I do not know why specifically, but I will try to find out from engineering and get back to you.

Please also ask them why we can not transfer memory locations between sessions and why they don´t appear when exporting sessions as text (especially the selection markers)

cheers,

frank.

Actually, there is a work-around for this:

1. On the source session, create a MIDI track

2. Export MIDI (save a MIDI file - both 0 and 1 MIDI file formats seem to work)

3. On the destination session, import MIDI to track (locate the just saved MIDI file)

4. You've done

But I agree, you should be able to do this using Import Session Data command.

Oops, I just realized that this is a Windoze, not a Macintosh forum. I don't know if the previous works on Windoze...
