Problems re-installing LE 7.3

Hi there,


I ran Pro Tools LE 7.3 For a year without many problems, but it suddenly stopped opening up, and I couldn’t re-install properly.
I have even formatted my hard drive and reinstalled xp, and it worked for a while but then stopped opening – I have since reinstalled several times, deleting registry files each time, and it always freezes at the ‘Configuring your new software configuration,’ and just says ‘installing’ (right at the end of the process) It doesn’t get to the stage of asking me to connect my mbox2.
I have tried deselecting the bomb factory etc at installation but that didn’t work either.
I'm running:
Windows xp service pack 3
Intel Core Duo CPU
T2300 @ 1.66 GHz
1.66 GHz. 0.99GB of RAM
on a HP530 Notebook.

Any clues gratefully received.

Check to make sure that you do not have Internet Explorer 8 installed.
