Problem with maximum Voices/Tracks in Pro Tools 2020.9

Makes sense, though. Halving the track count cannot be intentional. Or is it???

It's fortunate that on Macs we can have multiple versions of the same program - you just rename each one. That's how I have 2019.6 and previous to 2020.9 I also had 2020.5 Both are fully functional

Avid move very embarrassing I hope so much it is a bug, personally I consider it a bit of amateurs to release the 2020.9 update with such a big bug where the tracks are halved, since in the change log the reduction of the tracks is not eleced I hope for greedy and I think this is a big bug .. obviously if this were not the case there is also a contract that avid must respect, which even now on the site is specified: tracks 128/64/32 mono or stereo ... and these things must be respected...

The resolution of this issue will determine whether or not I update in December or stop at 2020.5. This would be unacceptable if it's intentional, and for now, I prefer to think it's a bug that will be fixed very soon. Avid needs to come out publicly about this.

its a bug. if they were gonna do that , they'd release 'music semi pro and music pro' versions, with one being 50% cheaper , for those who dont need all the stuff. kinda makes sense, or does it...?
