That it will come. The same old stuff. If you ask me, Avid is working on something. They have been very quiet the last couple of months.

So maybe a stupid question, but what exactly could or should Eucon bring to the ICON surfaces that's not available now?

Note that all opinions, observations, whatever, in this post are mine, unless I'm being mean or am wrong, in which case it's somebody else's fault. I do not work for Avid (their loss)...my only relationship with Avid is that of a customer (when I'm not too poor to buy stuff, like now)...and that hot administrative assistant...that's more of a "thing" than a "relationship" (that should keep them guessing for a while...)

Just rockin'...what more is there?

Also the way it can organize channels. I would personally like to see something new, like an Icon 2, that it has the functionality on lock.

With Eucon, the Icon could be used with other Eucon capable daws such as Sequoia and Pyramix.
Right now we cannot use an Icon as we have to use controlsurfaces that talk with all our systems.

Ok, so.. It was promised, they're working on it... Would AES be the time, or are they going to kill it with a new control surface?
