Phased Input Monitoring
I have had this weird tinny, wide, air, echo type sound every time I enable record on my track it starts to act as my input monitoring and sounds weird as well when I actually do enable my input monitoring it does it as well, I have looked everywhere and couldn't find anything about it, seeing as my computer is a brand new Mac book pro that I've run various large sessions and had no issues at all I'm very confused to what's going on Ive check everything in pro tools and haven't found a solution, as well as avid has been no help I have call multiple times in the past few weeks and cannot understand them due to poor phone quality on their end as well as they keep saying they will contact me and yet never do I am extremely frustrated please someone help, I am an audio engineer and am well versed in pro tools already, I also have tried all the buffer sizes and that and nothing works, low latency monitoring was working but I couldn't use plugins which I need then now I enable it and It gives me no audio afterwards.

Re: Phased Input Monitoring
Hi, welcome to the community.
Forget LLM, set buffer to 256 or lower and try again

Re: Phased Input Monitoring
Check to be sure the "direct monitor" button on your Scarlett hasn't accidentally been pressed. If you can hear your input signal before arming the track in PT, you are somehow monitoring the input before it gets to the software. That would be your 2nd path.

Re: Phased Input Monitoring
@JJ Direct monitoring isn't on but I used it as a reference to make tell the difference between the clean audio and phased one, once I enable record button it picks up the audio and acts as if I pressed the input monitoring button either way they give me the phased type audio
