Toggle between PT and SD3 (or DS Thorn) screen

I've poked around and haven't found the answer...
I'm working with PT12 on an iMac and this obstacle occurs with both SD3 and DS Thorn.
Many plugs will come to the fore if I click on the window of that plug and simply click on the PT window to return. But SD3 and Thorn will not slip behind when I click on the PT screen. I'm sure it's something obvious, any help appreciated!

Just like "Command-tab" cycles through your running applications, "Command~" (tilde) is supposed to step through all open windows within a program. Add the shift key to cycle through in the reverse direction. I don't have those plugs so I can't test it but I hope that works.

Assuming everything is compatible this obviously shouldn't happen. I say assuming because you give zero system info, OSX version, PT version, etc. Are you really running PT12 and if so why did you post in a PT2020 subforum?

Thx JJ for trying, didn't work but learned tilde cycles through grid prefs!
I'll go look in the PT12 zone.
