Redundant Power Supplies
This question is more out of curiosity...Are both PSU's sucking juice at the same time, or is just the active one?

Re: Redundant Power Supplies
Each PSU has multiple power rails at different voltages. Any one of the rails can fail, and the rail from the other PSU will take over instantly.
So it's not an "all or nothing" situation, unless something catastrophic happens to all rails, or the inlet AC to one of the PSU's is removed. Sheldon |

Re: Redundant Power Supplies
Sheldon,
A follow up to this. Are the PSUs running in Parallel (like a Heritage or XL4) or does one PSU have priority? In other words, does it matter which one is started up first? |

Re: Redundant Power Supplies
Hi,
It doesn't matter which PSU starts up first, as they always run in parallel. Sheldon |
