If I had not come to rely on it for a lot of our projects , it would not have been a big deal.

It also just does not feel right as it was listed as part of a deal which I now feel has been broken and trust in the brand diminished as well. It feels like ripping out the GPS of a newly purchased car that was included in the initial deal, and being told, 'well that promotion is now over, so we're gonna need that back...'

The eventual reply from support had a "tough luck' feel to it, and no solution provided for a problem that was not created by me.

So just to report back:

I received an email telling me that the version I qualify for, or have is 12.1 (As clearly stated in my products page in my account) and the license is included in the subscription, with some instructions about how to remove it from my iLOK and reinstall that might solve the problem. I followed the instructions and no luck. I still need a valid license. I then take screen shots of the error and forward this to Support.

Today I receive another email telling me that a new license has been deposited into my account, and it will be the last as the offer has expired.

So I am back to square one...

I will ask again but i am not sure what you mean by a new deposit? Can you not sync your ilok and get that license on the ilok?
