install the latest iLok drivers from the iLok website, see if that helps -it's possibly your system is not seeing hte iLok because it's not installed

I meant manually repairing them not letting the system repair them.
I had a similar problem in the past and repairing disk permissions with the utility didn't help. I had to manually give full access back to each of my drives since the utility actually gives limited rights.

My Mac HD ownership & Permissions:
You can Read & Write (greyed out)
Details:
Owner: system
Access: Read & Write
Group: admin
Access: Read & Write
Others: Read only

I hit "apply to enclosed items" and it says operation could not be completed because I don't have sufficient priviledges for some of the items.

I did notice that the System folder (the one with the "blue x on it" is the same as the Mac HD EXCEPT Group is "wheel" and that is "read only". could that be it? I dont want to touch it if yours says the same.

I had this issue recently too. Never could get it figured out, a re-format and fresh install of the OS + all my software was the only way I could get back to normal.

No the System Folder has different settings.

I would go to each of your HD's and unlock them then set the the permissions and relock them.
After that reinstall your iLok related plugs and the most recent Interlok Extensions.
