USB Audio...HW Buffer Size error 6104 problem?

I have keep having this error during playback on only 2 tracks and no plug ins. I have tried many different combinations of settings in the Playback Engine. I just upgraded to 7.4 and am using an Mbox2 Mini and Micro sometimes on a MBP 2.4ghz w/ 2 GB RAM.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Have a look at the troubleshooting thread.

general troubleshooting

Particularly those sections concerned turning off background tasks/applications.

Other things to consider (but not limited to) include,

- switching USB port (left?)
- incompatible (non intel) plugs

I have looked at and have been told by people all those tips. I have run larger sessions for long intensive editing sessions with most of that stuff still turned on and had no problem.

you got the problems before or after you upgraded to 7.4? Also what OS are you using?

I had them awhile ago but they went away. They showed up more frequent now I am on 7.4. I am on OSX 10.4.10.

If you still have those 'on', then that's very likely the cause of the errors. Just because it works in one situation and not another doesn't mean it's ok to keep those devices (bluetooth, airport, wireless, etc) enabled.
