Control 24

Hi Guys

Could anyone shed some light on what to look for when buying a 2nd hand Control 24 I'm after one to use with my TDM rig Pro Tools 10HD

Do these have common issue/faults

Hi Raoul,

Check that all the faders move, the switches all work and the monitor section work. Much has been said about the power supply but once replaced the new supplies are good but there is sometimes an issue with cable connections which just need a clean and reseat then it is all good.

So it is important to see the unit powered up and at least put through a "Vegas" test demo which switches/cycles all the LEDs and moves the faders. Best to have it connected to PTs and see it working and passing audio.
