You can try creating an an aggregate IO device (in OS X audio/midi setup) containing both interfaces and select that as the playback engine in Pro Tools as the Playback Engine dialog panel. However Avid does not officially support using aggregate IO for anything besides aggregating an interface with built-in output. You are quite likely to have stability/performance problems doing this, and the built-in microphones suck. The best thing to do is purchase an interface with more inputs/mic preamps. --- Please follow the forum rules and post your questions to one form only. Hi, Yes you can using an aggregate audio device, made up of both the internal audio and the fast track! then you can have the in-built mic as an input and the fast track as the outputs etc. You need to setup the audio devices in the AMS "audio midi setup" first and assign the inputs and outputs as you want them. built-in mic as the input and fast track as the output audio device etc. Chris

Not to beat a dead horse, but here's an Apple KB article on aggregate devices in case you need specifics:http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1215
