Midi Control Change Names
Hi there--
So I have a Korg MS2000R. I record a take playing keys and doing a bunch of knob fiddling. What's great about the MS2000R is that every knob on the faceplate sends midi Control Change messages that can then be recorded, tweaked modified. The problem is that there doesn't seem to be a way to get ProTools to automatically label the Control Changes. I.e. CC#05 is the portamento, CC#20 is the oscillator 1 level in the mixer, etc. If I view the midi event log in protools, all i see are messages like "Effect Control #1" and "Effect Depth 3"... Is there some way in ProTools to do the mapping from the Control Change numbers to their corresponding names? Thanks in advance for your help. Craig |

Re: Midi Control Change Names
No, sorry, this is an on going issue, with no real light to be seen.
