Default A/B monitor selection without a switcher

I'm using the 001 and I would like to know if there is a way to setup an A/B monitor selection without having to buy a switcher. I have a piar of Hafler TRM8's and a trm12 sub, I would like to add either a pair of ns10's or a pair of auratones. I was wondering if there is a way to setup some kind of internal routing of a second master fader to some of the 001's external outs. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Paul.

Paul...
If you need to compare the same mix on two different sets of speakers...no second master fader will do .
Beside, how would you power the NS10s ?
Non-amplified speakers need an amp. If you only have one, a cheap speaker selector will do (Radio Shack)
How about a high end receiver with A-B speaker selector? Still, you'll need to match levels..

good luck,

If you have two sets of monitors, one powered and the other one with a separate power amp, you can do the following:

take your monitor L-R out to the powered monitors. You control de volume of those speakers with the monitor knob in front of the 001.

Take the L-R 1 and 2 outs to the power amp and then to the monitors. You control the volume of those monitors with the volume on the power amp. These outs are always hot specially since your master fader will be at 0db, they will always be on. On the 001, output 1 and 2 is mirrored to s/pdif and thats another out from the master. Sometimes I ran a cable to my sony mididisc s/pdif, which is connected to my home stereo and monitored my mix like that.

Great, thanks Chuck.
