Default Crash Reporter and Crash Issue

I just purchased Pro Tools 12.8 for my I Mac and all was well until very recently when I try to boot PT's I get the Crash Reporter and that crashes too. So I can't even send a Crash Report to Avid Support. I did trash preferences, boot up without the plugins and thought I got rid of a plug in that might have been causing the issue. I worked all night on a file/score and all was well. This morning however I got the crash again. Not sure what to do at this point. Any suggestions? BTW: I have an SSD, not a fusion drive.
