Default Changing a track's tempo independant of other tracks

I'm working on some audio tracks for a local short film and I need to take a few sections of audio and stretch or shrink them to fit better into certain scenes in the film. These would be very minor adjustments. Is there a way to change the tempo of a single track without effecting the tempo of the rest of the session?

Thanks!

Check the help pdf file and search for TCE. Its a tool option of the trimmer tool. There is also Serato Pitch 'n Time(and excellent-sounding Audiosuite plugin) and Elastic Audio

Waves Sound Shifter works well, too.
