Default Help! MBox2 firmware update killed my mBox2

Well, I installed the mbox2 firmware for intel and the install hung. I force quit and now the mBox 2 cannot be recognised by the system control panel. It seems the firmware is toast. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how was it repaired? Do I need a new pre-programmed eprom? Can the eprom be flashed and reloaded?
If anyone can shed light, I would apreciate it
Thanks
Best Regards
Mike Kovach

Bump this forward. I have not had a reply from Digidesign tech support yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What happens if you run the firmware update again?

When I run the firmward update again, the update reports NO MBox2 attached and the firmware area says No Firmware. No Lights come on on the mBox. I would really like to get this fixed, any other ideas?
Thanks for your reply
Mike

Hi Franck
I had to cal Digidesign technical support and they issued me a return authorization number. I sent the unit back for repair. Digi sent me another unit as mine was still in warranty. I recommend you call them to have it repaired.
They returned mine within 48 hours as they promissed. Very good service!
Best of luck
Mike
