Writing automation without deleting MIDI notes
I have recorded some MIDI information using the MASSIVE pugin in Pro Tools 9 and I want to go back and record some automation with my mod wheel. I have no trouble assigning my mod wheel to the MASSIVE plugin, but whenever I arm the track to record automation, it deletes my MIDI notes. Apparently if you set your automation settings to "write" it shouldn't delete your MIDI information, but that isn't the case for me. Any thoughts?

Re: Writing automation without deleting MIDI notes
MIDI Merge. And the Mod Wheel is Continuous Controller data but Pro Tools Automation.
