Advice on HD3 system ? inputs.

I've owned 003 for 10 years,mac book pro, trying upgrade...on a budget.
Seen a HD3 system(192,1xCore,2xAccel),running PT HD8, with a Mac pro dual quad core, cheap.

Which S/H Interface's are compatible ?? (Buying new not an option.)

Seen Rosetta 800,with hd card, told these only compatible with PT10 or11.
Or could I just come out Rosetta ADAT into 192 adat in ??

What advantage does Rosetta HD card into PCI boards ,have over just coming into ADAT of 192 ? (from Rosetta)

What are my options ?....upgrade to PT HD10 Software, Do I need ilok 2 ??
or are there other,equally good S/H interfaces,that are HD backward compatible?

Or stay with HD8 ,use ADAT in's...as it all works on the system.Saves days of grief. If ain't broke etc....

Anyone who's used the HD3 system,be interest to hear your advice.
