Default Line 6 Has A New Guitar To Go With Your POD

When you don't have enough guitars, try this:

Let me get this straight. I flick a switch on this hardbody electric, and the sound of a Martin D-28 comes out????

I'm not ready to believe this until I see it.

Imagine this guitar circuitry with that other guitar that instantly changes tunings. Sheesh, the next step would have to be a robot to play it for you...
Actually I say that facetiously, because this may just be a decent guitar. As with all modelers I've ever heard, it will likely not be as good as each of the originals it's intended to copy, but there still may be some really good sounds in it. Wonder how it'll feel? (that still holds merit with me, believe it or not).

Feel is huge, man. Imagine what it would feel like to play acoustic guitar stuff on one of those bendy-necked, strings-a-millimeter-apart, Ibanez electrics? I think my brain would short-circuit.

It looks fun to me but I couldn't play a guitar for my life. Bass is the place for me.

Why did line6 have to make it soooo cheap looking??? And even just for asthetics couldnt they put some kind of pickup looking object beneath the strings.

Sounds like it could be way cool, and i hope (wouldnt be suprised) if the footswitch (not revealed yet) will allow for custom tunings.

I think its very pretty. It has a sort of retro PRS look about it. But I agree that the crunch for this guitar will not be the tones (we all know what line 6 can do) but the feel.

I will definitely try one of these out when they arrive.Might just be the perfect all rounder I'm always fumbling for.

I used to be a snob about "modeled" amps but now I'm a homeownder which means I'm broke most of the time. I think that thing would be very helpful in the studio.

Just imagine, you can plug your virtual tele into your virtual Mesa head running through a virtual Hiwatt cab, mix it on your virtual mixing board add virtual effects and burn a real CD. Now I've gone crosseyed.
