Default Adding Metadata to WAV files

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to burn a master CD for duplication, and what ever I try, I cannot add metadata to the audio files (Artist name, Track name, etc.)

I even used Sony CD Architect, as I saw on a previous post it can be used for adding CD Text. Nothing. Even though I add all the info in each track just as stated in their help section, I still get "Track 1", "Track 2" by "Unknown Artist"...

Can anyone help? I know this task is much easier with MP3s, but I don't want to lose quality.

In some forums I read that WAV files don't hold metadata, so how is it done in commercial CDs?

Thanks!
Mony

Default Re: Adding Metadata to WAV files

For me,,, I've always, after bouncing all songs, build up the master CD in Roxio. It adds the title of the CD, and song titles come up on your player for each song. I also like Roxio because it will alow me to over lap songs,,, say like to have track # 3 fade out while track #4 is fading in!!! No other CD burning product has this that I know of, (unless you pay big bucks!!) And the end results has always been exactly as I had recorded,, no signal loss ect...

Give it a try,,, its very cost effective,,,,, Mike
