Default RTAS DISABLED IN REC.MODE?

I'm not sure if there have been posts already about this subject, but why does Protools 6.2.3 disable an rtas plug-in when you put the audiochannel in rec mode? Strange and not very handy to me. Anyone knows more about this? I have a G5, Protools HD set.

Thanks.

John

This has always been the case on TDM systems.
