Default Unused Plugin folder and Moogerfooger auth.

I just installed PT8 was being asked to authorize my Moogerfooger AD & RM. The codes are on my ilok. But I was having problems authorizing them. I mistakenly sent the two plugins to a unused plugin folder. Which I can't find anywhere on my hard drive. So my question is how do I reinstall the AD & RM plugins and authorize them?

I had some weirdness when I upgraded my Producer Factory to Pro for $30 (or something like that)

I got the correct authorizations on my iLok, including a couple that didn't seem to be necessary. But I had to D/L the Moogerfooger bundle installer to get the authorizations to work with all 4 of the moogerfoogers...

I'm not sure if you are experiencing a related problem...

This is from memory, but I think the path to the unused plugins folder is:

<system Drive>/Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Protools/unused plugins..

If that isn't exactly right, it will at least get you going in the correct direction

OK. I have the Moogerfooger AD & RM. I bought the Factory Update. But I'm still having issues with the Authorization. I can see both the AD & RM on my ilok but I'm asked to authorize them when I open PT. Also there are other plug-ins that are asking for auth. that I'm not sure if their on my ilok or not. Here's a complete list.

bombfactory BF-2A
Fairchild 660
Fairchild 670
Moogerfooger AD
Moogerfooger LP
Moogerfooger Ph
Moogerfooger RM
Purple Audio MC77
TL EveryPhase

Here's what's on my ilok

Pultec EQH-2
Synchronic
Pultec MEQ-5
BF Pultec Bundle v4
Tel-Ray Variable Delay
JOEMEEK SC2 Compressor
Cosmonaut Voice
Moogerfooger Analog Delay
JOEMEEK VC5 Meequalizer
Moogerfooger Ring Modulator
SansAmp PSA-1
BF Voce Bundle v4
Voce Chorus/Vibrato
Bomb Factory BF-3A
BNR LE
Pro Tools MP3 Export
Auto-Tune 5 Native
Hybrid
Smack! LE
TL Space Native
Music Production Toolkit
SoundReplacer

So I guess the questions now are.

How do I authorize my Moogerfooger AD & RM?

Are any of these other plug-ins something that I should also be able to use? I bought a factory bundle when I got my 002.

If some of these plug-in are not covered under my Factory Bundle. I'm I able to authorize them or buy them separately?

Not sure what you bought, when..

But the plugs you list that are asking for authorizations are part of the producer factory pro bundle. If you didn't buy it, you don't have authorizations.

Producer Factory Pro

There was a special upgrade for owners of certain bundles with 002 or 003, but if you bought the Factory bundle independently, I don't think you can get it at that cost..

upgrade

If I were you, I'd get a hold of digi customer service and find out what your options are, or at least how to make the authorizations you already own work...

I guess this is a problem with the Moogerfooger upgrade. I had to remove the update and reinstall the older one. It's working fine now. Here's a explanation.
