Default Cloud Collaboration within a Avid Master Account

I have 5 Pro Tools rigs under my Avid Master account between studio rigs, home rigs and assistants. Is it possible to create sub users so we can share sessions? I don't really want to give full account access to my employees.

Short answer: No

We tried this and had to make sure we logged in and out the master account before doing anything from another rig. Signing in from another location will automatically sign you out from your other location. I reached out to Avid about this and was told it is not really a supported workflow to do this within one master account.

Other than that, while a neat feature to see our sessions update and work together like this, we found it was not worth the hassle. Took forever to sync at times, even with a fast up/down connection and found it unnerving to have to rely on the cloud if something went wrong. There is a local cache, but I could not get a straight answer about recovering sessions from that if something happened to the project.

Such a missed opportunity in the current climate.
I usually have my assistant prep sessions and upload them to our
NAS drive for me to grab at home. Then I re-post so she can output and revise
while i'm onto the next one.

I've been a PT user since, well i won't say because then you'll all know how many years of my life have been spent on this program

Of coarse I only have a Master account where I manage everything.
Seem s lie it wouldn't be hard to implement User Accounts within that.

Thanks for the reply.
