Co-Install PT11/10.3.8 - Can't launch PT10 - Help

I recently purchased a copy of PT11, and am attempting to co-install PT10.3.8. When I go online and download the 10.3.8 installation it seems to install fine. However, I cannot get ProTools to open in anything other than version 11.

I'm sorry for having to post such a seemingly basic question, but unfortunately $700 in software won't get anyone on the phone to help you install.

Where are you trying to open PT10 from? If you go into Applications you will have one "PT Icon" for PT10 and one Icon for PT11. Start one and set the icon to stay in the dock and close, start the next version and do that same thing. Then you have atleast PT10 icon which say something on ot and PT11 icon blank.

Both installers should be visable under application and one is in the Avid folder and I believe PT11 is just an Icon further down in the list outside of Avid folder.
