Hey there, I'm awaiting the delivery on a custom-built desk by STYLE & FUNCTION after having sold my Control24 and Argosy 70-series. I already have my Euphonix units----I bought the following:

(1) MC CONTROL V2
(3) MC MIX
(1) MC TRANSPORT

Looking forward to the desk arriving!

I got everything unboxed and hooked up last night, and it was surprisingly easy. I purchased a Netgear Ethernet switch, and pluged the units in and got the Eucon software running.... booted up PTHD and boom, It all worked smooth.

I'll be putting more photos up this weekend of the desk mod in the thread over at gearsluts.

OH YEAH that reminds me of a rant.... I bought what was said to be a 5-port Switch. Okay, I think 5-ports means a MAIN INPUT and FIVE OUTPUTS. Oh no, that's not true at all...it means 5-total ports so really a 1x4! Grrrrrrr

no complaints here from deciding to sell the Control 24 and move to MC Control and MC Mix...

may add another Mix... but then... I can bank faders ... and I can only control 8 (10 if I use my thumbs) at a time... so I'm questioning "Do I need an additional Mix for functionality? or is it "coolness" factor"

I certainly haven't struggled (beyond getting used to not having a physical transport pad).. it was a few weeks before I stopped reaching to where the C24 transport buttons were

and (Euphonix... this is a hint) there appears to be plenty of room on the Control for a transport pad (nostalgic as it may be) of tap machines

...it's tough re-training us old dawgs

Don't know if this can be useful for anyone at all (come with suggestions), but I just successfully attached my MC Transport to the Ethernetport of Airport Extreme and run it successfully with no cables attached to the MacBook. Could perhaps be useful for someone who runs a maincomputer + MacBook (since Artistline can run more then one setup at once)?

The Airport Extreme is 1 WAN + 3 LAN + 1 USB port - so, sorry Brad, it's still no solution for you... ;-) - but it get's you thinking, doesn't it?
