shortcut keys and midi

I would like to see shortcut keys used in pro tools be able to be programmed to midi. I know now that transport keys are programmable through midi if you set the CC's to 149. I would like to see audio editing functions like CUT, COPY, PASTE, TAB, SELECT (KNOB) be programmable through MIDI parameters too. I doubt this is possible on the current release of pro tools. But it would be a cool function to be added on a future release. I bet a lot heavy duty audio editing guys would love such a feature.
