i've got an md1, which was the first of the series i believe before the move to alesis. it's a great mic in my opinion. very smooth. not harsh at all. looks like they've come down in price since i bought mine, i might have to put a 2nd one on my long wish list. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
