AIR VacuumPro not recognized by PT after recent update
PROBLEM SOLVED: TL;DR AFTER YOU UPDATE PRO TOOLS, YOU HAVE TO TICK THE ROSETTA BOX AGAIN. IT GOES BACK TO STANDARD BOOT.
I can see the plugin in the folder, but Pro Tools no longer sees it. My sessions using it are now ruined. I'm new to Pro Tools, so maybe this is common with updates. Perhaps there is some sort of reset. I did reinstall the plugin. It works in my other DAWs, just not Pro Tools. Thanks in advance. Last edited by industrialist; 01-24-2024 at 02:46 AM. |

RME MADIFace Pro Sonoma 14.2.1 Pro Tools Studio 2023.12.1 -- this occurred after I installed the update. I can see the plugin in the Avid plugins folder. Pro Tools cannot see it any longer, though. Thanks for the reply |

Re: AIR VacuumPro not recognized by PT after recent update
I'll assume you're on a Mac...
Vacuum Pro is not ARM/Silicon compatible - probably never will be. I loved that synth though. It will be missed. Run Pro Tools under Rosetta and those old plugs will reappear. Get info on the Pro Tools application and tick the box for Rosetta. |

Yes, I am on Mac. I do run Pro Tools with Rosetta. Vacuum Pro was working in Pro Tools for these last few months, and then when I updated to the recent ".1" update, it disappeared from the instruments list. I use VacuumPro without any trouble in Reaper right now. So, it's still working on my Mac. I don't think this is the issue. I think the issue might be something in that ".1" update. Maybe that broke VacuumPro. Maybe I was just lucky to have it working. I'll try to roll back Pro tools to see if this changes anything. |
