Exporting selected tracks as new session
So I'm done with a song and ready for mix and mastering. I want to save the session with selected tracks and pluggin settings to a different location so it's not as big but its the same sounds and everything. It keeps telling me the file does not exist when I click to where I want it to save. I'm assuming I'm missing a step:
-file -export -selected tracks as new session -24 or 32 bit float\audio files\selected tracks\session pluggins\root pluggins -save -New folder -New name -save what am I missing? |

Re: Exporting selected tracks as new session
Is this one of those instances where you want to go File and "Save Session Copy In"?

Re: Exporting selected tracks as new session
I guess I'm a little confused why you want to save it somewhere else with all the plugs only smaller. Why don't you want to mix it in its present session?

Re: Exporting selected tracks as new session
One I'm not the mixer. Two there are several tracks that i am not using and audio files that are old. I basically just want to keep what is playing and any bare essentials to keep everything sounding the same.

Re: Exporting selected tracks as new session
I used to be able to do it in older versions and get rid of all the older junk audio files not being used.

Cool. Beyond what I can help with. I'm sure someone else will have a suggestion.

Exporting selected tracks as new session
Delete all the tracks you don't want. Delete all unused playlists. Remove all unused audio in the clips / regions list, then save.
