harddisk for recording
what would be the best harddisk ( ide ) for recording with protools le on pc ? [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img]

My computer has Seagate drives. A 20gb as the master and a 40gb as the slave. The latter is used for data (including the ProTools sessions). They are both 7200 rpm. As far as I know, any good brand will do. You will need to have a 7200rpm as the data drive at least. DMA needs to be enabled on both of them. The setup I described so far has worked with ProTools without a hitch.
