PT HD 9.0.5 is crap. Where is PT HD 9.0.3 gone??...
Hello,
After having recently upgraded to PT HD 9.0.5 (using the Full installer) on Mac OS 10.6.8, I'm getting 2 to 3 crashes a day!... I can work from 1 hour to 2-3 hours and then I get the spinning multi-color ball and have to force-quit. Then, if I don't restart, but try to relaunch PT, I get a nice Mac freeze... And no, I don't think there's an obvious reason why this is happening (happens with different scenario). I'm tired of this version, it's obviously crap (just look at the number of different issues users are experiencing, and the fact that some plugs such as Flux or Izotope didn't even work with it in the first place). Now, I want to go back to 9.0.3 which used to work properly but, surprise surprise, AVID has removed it from the list of available upgrades??!... All I get is 9.0.2 (which wasn't very stable from what I recall) or 9.0.5. Searching through the website, all I can find is a 9.0.3 upgrade but no full installer. Any idea where to find it? Thanks.

Hi, can you start from your 9.0 discs, or original 9.x install, and update to 903 from there?
I've been wary of 905 since reading all the glowing reviews. good luck dg

Thanks for the reply.
Checking with some collegues, it seemed there has never been a Full 9.0.3. So it seems, indeed, that I have to uninstall PT, then install 9.0.2, then upgrade to 9.0.3. Damn handy, thanks AVID for releasing unusable upgrades!...

Wooops, too late. Good to know anyway.
BTW, I've reinstalled 9.0.3 and everything turned back to normal... No 9.0.5 for me.
