Need help with Pro Tools 12 and Omnisphere 2

Pro Tools crashes as soon as I try to open Omnisphere 2.
I’ve tried trashing preferences, emptying and rebuilding the plug-ins folder, different OS and PT versions etc.

I need to open an old session with one Omnisphere instrument track, and save/export the multi in that instance.

So, if there’s anybody out there with Omnisphere 2 working in PT 12 who’s got 5 minutes to help me out, I would really appreciate it.

there is an OMNI update .. i had the same thing happen last week .. new version ends in h i think .. hope this helps a bit .. john

Thanks John, I have installed the latest Omnisphere 2.3.2h update.
Weird thing is that the AAX version looks like it’s still v.1.0.8. according to the info in OS X Finder.

i know ... i hate that .. the SSL duende still says 1.0 ... even though it is 5.1.3 ...

Try contacting Spectrasonics support. They are really good at helping with that kind of stuff

I experienced almost the same issue but my omnisphere would beachball for about a minute then return to normal. What I did was trash all the spectrasonics/omnisphere prefs, not sure if you did those? Did you trash pro tools prefs? Go to Finder>library>preferences and scroll through and delete any omnisphere prefs. Hope that helps
