Track Show/Hide Disables Re-record Tracks

Hello DUC:

I guess I've known about this for years, but it's really been bothering me recently. If I have all my re-recording tracks record enabled, and then call up a marker that changes the visible tracks, those record tracks are disabled. UNLESS, I'm already in play or record when I call that marker, in which case, the hidden record tracks stay enabled.

Am I missing something here? Is this a safety feature? It's really gumming up my workflow today...

Hidden Tracks cannot be record enabled. This makes total sense to me, if it was not this way then chaos would ensue. I can see your problem but the downside of changing it woul be too great for most workflows.

I get this. And that's fine. My problem is that I don't want showing and hiding tracks to DISABLE any rec-armed tracks I have.
