Monitoring sounds outside of Pro Tools with 003
I've got the 003 (with control surface) and I have four different devices hooked up to the audio inputs. Is there any way I can monitor those devices while Pro Tools is not launched or do I have to disconnect the inputs and connect them to another mixer?
Thanks for any solutions. |

Re: Monitoring sounds outside of Pro Tools with 003
Maybe the best solution would be a cheap mixer that patches into the AUX inputs. You can use the AUX/MON button to listen outside of protools, or click the AUX to 7/8 when you ant to record into protools. Too bad they deleted the stand-alone mode that was available on the 002 surface.
