Default Directly to PT 2020 from 12.8.3?

I just moved from Win 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro. (This was a clean install.)

Was planning on installing PT 2019.12.

Is there any reason I shouldn't go directly to PT 2020?

I am usually not an early adopter (obviously).

Would it be better to wait? I don't use any cloud collaboration and can wait for the folders if need be.

2020.3 is much better choice because of new features and bug fixes, but also because 2019.12 was obviously rushed release for those of us who needed initial Catalina compatibility.

As always, these 2 tricks:
#1-Always have a backup plan. Drive imaging is the bare minimum. Cloning and swapping drives is even better(so the old version and system drive don't get messed up).
#2-UN-Install the older version before installing the newer version of Pro Tools. Things used to work as an update, but moving to 2020, it seems best(or mandatory) to uninstall the old version first.

I have 3 Acronis backups of the Win 7 install that has PT 12.8.3, just in case.

The Win 10 Pro install was a clean install, so there are no traces of PT (drive was reformatted).

Thanks.
