Totally forgot, but another option is NI Battery 4 - yes, it's mostly a drum machine sampler, but you can drop any samples onto it and map keys and velocity. Well supported by Native Instruments. I had my old Roland TR505 samples up and running on it last night, and with built in compression, effects, sounded better than ever.
