Default Maschine 2.1 failing to load in Pro Tools 2019.12 after update

So I just updated all of my Native Instruments plugins and now Maschine 2.1, Komplete Kontrol, and Reaktor 6 are unable to load. The error reads "The following plug-ins failed to load because they are not valid 64 bit AAX plug-ins:". I have Komplete 12 and it seems that all other instruments are ok. My setup is Pro Tools 2019.12 on 2019 16" MacBook Pro, i9 2.4 ghz, 32 GB Ram. I attempted to reinstall Maschine, I updated Mac OS so now I'm on 10.15.3. Everything ran fine before I updated NI. Please help! Maschine is crucial to my production workflow in Pro Tools. Thanks!

Edit: here's a picture of the error.

Edit #2: not sure why picture is upside down...took and added multiple, still upside down

Default Solved!!!

Solved!!

So I found a post by a NI support on a forum that read:
"You might want to give this a try for Maschine 2.8.4 :

- navigate to : Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Avid > Audio > Plug-Ins

- delete the Maschine 2.aaxplugin

- launch Pro Tools / close Pro Tools

- Reinstall the Maschine application with Native access.

- Start Pro Tools again"

I tried it and it worked! I'm surprised more people haven't had this issue. One thing I noticed when deleting the plug-in file from the folder, was that the "created" and "modified" dates were from 2018, even though I had just updated them the day before. Weird. Anyway, it worked. Hopefully this helps anyone else having or that will have this issue in the future.

Thank you very much, Oscar. I had the same trouble with Reaktor 6 and your fix worked like a charm.

Awesome! Glad it worked. The stress level instantly increases when something that normally works, doesn’t. Good thing there are forums like these still around!
